By default, wedding photo slideshows are included in all three of my standard wedding collections. Of course there is nothing standard about my offerings, though I use that terminology because there are sometimes custom or intimate options created.
I have found these wedding photo slideshows to add value to my collections and provide value to the couples. It's an easy and fun way for the couple to share the highlights of their day. Those who were in attendance get to relive the day and see different things they never saw before. Also, those who were not in attendance can feel as if they were there and see the story unfold.
This is perhaps my favorite wedding photo slideshow- Rob and Audrey at historic Rippavilla.
Here's why wedding photo slideshows are a hit-
Not every couple hires a videographer, and this gives a teaser in video format. Yet, it's kept brief (ideally 2-3 minutes long) and there is no reading or scrolling. People can sit back and enjoy and not spend unnecessary time watching raw footage. There's a window of time you have to keep the audience's attention, these days especially. Note the photo transition as the beat changes! Perfect storytelling tool from a photojournalist perspective.
