Downtown Nashville rainy day proposal photography-
Josh and Amber took a weekend trip to Nashville, and made the drive from South Texas, where the couple resides. Josh and I communicated mostly by text message, working out logistics and details—his proposing to longtime girlfriend, Amber was a huge deal in this young man's life, and he wanted to leave no room for error.
I could relate to his emotional stress—wanting to plan the perfect trip, manage the ring, come up with the right words, plan the most romantic weekend, etc.! When Josh hired me to document the milestone proposal, I assured him once we arranged the details, I would take care of the rest.
Josh wanted the pedestrian bridge in Downtown Nashville, and we had planned on later afternoon soon before sundown. One problem— there were heavy rains forecasted from early afternoon on, and there was a possibility of tornados! Which came to be, unfortunately, North and West of town. We worked together to bump the time back a few hours to avoid problems with the weather. So it went! Congratulations Josh and Amber! Downtown Nashville rainy day proposal photography was a mad success! Oh, and unbeknownst to me, Amber's friends joined the couple on the trip—everyone knew except for her, until the moment.
