I received a call from Eric, the potential future engaged guy planning a trip to Nashville with his self-proclaimed better half, Alyssa. He was trying to navigate the process of airline travel and transporting the ring (that she had hoped for in the near future, but had no idea this was the time or place), and the logistics of the proposal. Most of my couples value the insight of a local Nashvillian with regards to food, entertainment, and of course picking the right place to propose that suits them as a couple. This I am happy to provide as part of the service, along with what turned out to be absolutely dreamy proposal photography.
Nashville proposal photography-
It was a milestone moment, and naturally Eric wanted it to be perfect when he proposed to Alyssa. The day we were scheduled to document the real-time event, freezing rain was in the forecast—we then decided to bump it back for a more pleasing experience. The pedestrian bridge in downtown Nashville seems to be a popular spot, but the true story is told by the couple when it comes to proposal photography. There were several photographers with huge telephoto lenses that could reach the next zip code. Me? I just blended in with pedestrian traffic. My Leica camera and I quietly and discreetly worked our collective magic. It’s a symbiotic relationship between photographer and camera when we get out of each others way and create the image. Thankfully, Alyssa responded with an emphatic yes to Eric’s proposal, and my creative task was successfully executed. Congratulations Eric and Alyssa; here’s to another successful dreamy Nashville proposal.
